After what feels like a very long time to me, I finally have a surgery date scheduled for August 10th. I am so excited and happy about it. Can't wait!

The day you have your surgery I will be going in for my pre op testing. Idk what that entails but I sure hope I pass! I am happy for you and am glad we're on the losing team.

Can you believe my surgery is approved and scheduled, my pre-op is scheduled for next week, and they forgot to approve the pre-op. Hopefully it will be put through before the appointment. As for what it entails, I am told I will see my surgeon for an appointment and then go across to the hospital for whatever tests they do before surgery. And I will get my liquid diet drink from the surgeons office that day. Am told to expect 3 hours for the appointment. Other than that, I am clueless.
I am so glad you got approved finally! Guess we will both be happy campers once we get through it and start our new lives.

Thanks Pixx. Wow, after all this time, only 2 days til surgery. Now its really starting to feel real.

Went for my pre op testing. Didn't have much to test cause my second home is the ER where they all come out normal. But did get handed a lot of new information and homework. I say all in all the day was good. I'm very anxious to either get this over and done with or to even go through with it but the ball is rolling. Thank you. I am starting to get the hang of the diet. Getting used to being hungry like my childhood years. It's worth it now, though, Huh?10 days away Carolyn...you can do it and you will be awesome at it
