 my blood pressure has decided to drop. I am not sure what the danger zone is for it but it's 86/60. It was low at the doctors office so I was told to monitor it. I just forgot to ask when is too low. Right now I'm hangry and have a headache. It's my bed time too. If anyone is up and know the answer to this please respond. I know that it could be because the weight coming off and all that but Im not gonna put it back on.... if I can help it.

Hope you got help as that is too low. Some meds cause low blood pressure and losing weight lowers it even more. I have this problem. How are you???

I'm hangin in there. Thanks for askin. My blood pressure meds were reduced to the smallest dose because it was going low. I didn't take any last night. Still it was low. I think I may get to come off the meds altogether. I have dizzy spells and blackouts that might be related. I am kinda nervous. Maybe my weight loss is not gradual enough? I lost 30 pounds since surgery. Three months ago. I feel that eventually I will be ok as far as that goes. Also my sugar is staying in the 80s for the most part. Requires hard work and diligence to achieve that. ...so, how are you?

The dizzy spells and blackouts are definitely related. Tell your doctor right away! Sounds like you no longer need the med. Glad your blood sugar is staying somewhat stable. 30# loss in 3 months doesn’t seem too fast. Your body does have to catch up, but should be able to. I’m doing well. Thanks for asking. Losing slow and steady. Dec 6 will be 1 yr post op for me. As of today, I am down 143#. I would love for it to be more, but I will take what I’ve got! :D

You go girl! Snap snap. Ha! It's good to know you are doing well. With all that struggling not to indulge thI'd past year.... I admiRE you and everyone else that has undergone such a challenge. I mean, liquid diets and all. It feels kinda nice huh? Welp, I still hope you make it over the finish line and not have to look back. Keep doing good.

Carolyn - Anything below 90/60 is too low! I hope you are able to come off the meds entirely and that it stabilizes, that would be awesome! Great work on the sugar levels, sounds like a whole lot of effort!

Christine - Awesome, your almost a year out! 143 lbs. is amazing. :D I just went and did the blood work for my 6 month check up next month. We'll see how that turns out I guess. I hope your post op check up goes well!

I would keep it monitored, low blood pressure can cause shock, stroke and heart attacks. I am finally getting better after 3 months. I have problems with dizziness, but I went to JCPenny the other day, feeling fine, went to check out about an hour later, got to the register and got so weak, almost fainted, but I noticed I got very hot before it happened. I had surgery on 28 Aug 2017 and lost almost 65 lbs in 30 days, two months I lost 98lbs, now a total of 101lbs, my current weight "was" 298lbs. I was in bad shape I couldnt eat nothing. Now I can taste the flavors in food a little, so I eat, just a little, still no cravings for sweets, I do crave soda's. I hope you do well.

That’s what happened to me I got very hot light headed and so dizzy like I was fading out it’s crazy at times but we have to wait for the journey to be over with the side effects

I am surprised I'm not alone. But I do not wish this on anyone. It does nothing but cause panic attacks. I will have to try to exercise patience. It's like there's no ending to the possibilities of various health issues.
