  • Hey Hunger Buddy, Happy to meet you. I hear you. Two weeks not being able to chew on real food can get depressing. But think of the reasons why you made this decision. I don't know your story but for me, I have battled weight problems my entire life. My highest weight was 530 lbs two years ago and I almost died as a result from it. It hasn't been an easy decision for me but better health and mobility won out. You can vent to me anytime you want. I have a good listening ear. I don't always no the answers but I listen and try to offer comfort. You are going to make it through these two weeks and have a successful surgery and then you be on the other side starting the next phase of your journey....I have my preop appt. Wednesday with the surgeon and the anesthsiologist. Soon after that I get to begin my two weeks on liquid diet. I hope this has helped. Please keep in touch. Amy
