10 weeks post surgery and I have low loss and high loss weeks. I have started eating salads and that has really helped with my bowels. I chop them up really well.

Thanks for that reply...it makes me feel better. This has been awesome and i think i may be looking for problems, it seems too easy. I had a 6 month wait thru my insurance so i had plenty of time to hit the support groups and educate myself. I am very happy making it my first week.

after surgery, passed gas well. I have been home for 5 days and still pass gas and can feel movement but so far no bowel movement. Is this normal? Should i be taking something? Suppository? Just nervous.

When I was released they gave me a paper that I should take 1 iron tablet. Pro care sent me the nascobal package. The iron pill bottle says to take 3 tablets once a day. A 30 day supply is 90 tablets. Sounds right. Just confused.
