Hi, I had my surgery on Sept 27th. My surgery didn't go well, was suppose to have the by-pass but my Dr. Couldn't do it because of too much scar tissue in my abdomen so he did the sleeve. That caused a lot of trauma in my abdomen from him trying for an hour to free my colon. I gained 14 lbs...

Went in yesterday for a bypass and came out with a sleeve! Guess there was to much scar tissue for a previous gallbladder survey the Dr couldn't do the bypass. Was torn at first which one to have and prayed and left it in the Lords hands still thinking bypass but, guess this one was meant to be...

Thanks frank, I know this us not a cure all. My stepsister had this several years ago and gained her weight back. So I know I have to work at this for the rest of my life and I believe this is the tool that will help me! Starting my liquid day and going to be ready for tomorrow!

Thanks Karenina and Coloradochic, Kind of nervous about it all but I really think I made the right choice. Have always struggled with sugar and really hope this helps. I have lost about 20 lbs since about end of Aug....I'm just hoping all goes well and this will really help me get down and stay...
