  • Read your post and I could totally relate! When I got scheduled I did a "Last Supper"! I allowed myself to binge on all my favorite foods. Pizza, chinese food, ribs, ect....I never thought of myself as an "emotional eater". However, every body over weight or not enjoys food! So I gorged and got it all out of my system. I actually had a conversation with food. I said "thank you for comforting me and bringing joy when I needed it, but you don't serve me at this time in my life, and so our relationship must change, so I will say goodbye for a long while." I did gain a few pounds, but that is o.k. Then I started my liquid diet. I am on day 6 of liquids, it is getting a little easier each day. I hope your journey becomes one of success and joy!
