  • Right now I always feel hungry. It doesn't matter how much I eat, 10 minutes later I am looking for something else. I hope surgery will help me with that.
That's great news that you've lost 44 pounds in a month! WOW! I am so looking forward to that same weight loss excitement.
What kind of health problems did you experience before surgery?
    Hi RedMama:

I had to do all that too before my surgery. I had the bypass The Roux-en-Y I don't seem to get hungry often but I have to remember to eat something or drink my protien drink to regulate my blood sugar. I still have cravings all the times but I choose to ignore them by doing something else my only problems is that I get uncomfortable if I eat one bite over what my tummy can take other than that I am doing better than I expected. Good news today I weight myself I am down another 4 pounds make a total of 44 pounds since the surgery on 5/2/14.

I hope to have my surgery in September. I have all sorts of things to do for my insurance coverage; tests, psych eval, meetings, ect. Done a lot so far but there's still plenty for me to do still. I want to have the Roux-en-Y, what surgery did you have? How is your hunger/cravings?
