  • To all the new people out there..REMEMBER...this is a support blog only!! We all have different doctors and different medical backgrounds. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR WITH MEDICAL QUESTIONS!! Not us. We only have OUR SOLUTIONS THAT WORKED FOR US. I am finally below 200#. I exercise 4-5 days a week and walk on the treadmill with a interment(up/5% then down to flat) for 30 minutes then do strenght exercises for 20 minutes. I am losing inches like crazy. I'm coming up to 1 yr post op and STILL think it was the best decision I ever made for me!
Hello everyone! Only 17 pounds away from losing 100 lbs! Am only 47 pounds away from goal weight. Have a new picture of me but can't get it posted....I'm still working on it...
Well, I had my 6month checkup today and was told that I am doing well. I was given a new goal wt of 155-158. I have 54 lbs to go!! I CAN AND WILL DO IT!! I now have the body that I am not affraid to draw attention to...I painted my fingers and toes!! (Only women will understand this). LOL
I have lost 75 pounds so far...have about 60 to go. Walking 2.2 miles a day and doing 20 minutes of strength training a day also. I am keeping my calories at around 1000 per day and am losing from 1-4 pounds per week. Still not tolorating meats, breads too well. But otherwise doing real well. Feeling great.
Well, I am off my plateau. I am down to 218 and have been told that it is usual for weight loss to slow down to 1 lbs a week at 5 months post op. I feel great . Walking 2.12 miles a day for exercise. Losing inches and sewing all my cloths so they will fit!! Wonderful feeling...getting thinner by the day!! My husband now calls me slim!!
Im in a plateau (sp?) Haven't lost in the past month. Frustrating....but I know that I will start losing again. I am walking 1.3 miles per day and doing strength training also. Not eating any of my trigger foods. Writting in a journal and keeping connected with my feelings...which is why I ate in the first place. Learning...learning....learning. I LOVE this new life!!
