Hi there and welcome to the group. Im in Central NY, so again not near you. I too am fairly new here and I am learning so much both from the site itself and from the members. Everyone is sooo very nice. I should find out my surgery date at my appointment on the 13th. They have been saying July, but Im thinking it will be more like August (heavy sigh) #@%* insurance companies!

Cattat thanks, so sorry i havent replied finally got my sugery date august 12im on my 2week liquid diet and im having a hard time but guess all have gone threw it wont complaine to much but im hungry lol my husband brought me to the mountains with just the bare min as far as what i can put in my shrinking stomach so not much choice and no chance of cheating bummer! how much have u lost in a year and r u glad u did the sugery ill try to get on every evening with my cell phone hot spot . karan

Hi. I'm in Albuquerque. I had my gastric bypass surgery on Monday, August 26. Finishing up week 2 on my full liquid diet. I start the pureed/soft food diet on Monday. Can't wait to make a pot of pinto beans and red chile and pureed the heck out of it. Too bad no tortilla is in the picture. LOL But I can hang. Hope to talk to you soon.

Is anybody still here from New Mexico? I had my surgery in 2000, and I am looking for some support with getting my apron of belly fat removed. Personally, this was the biggest mistake of my life, I don't enjoy food anymore and vomit about 4 times a month.
