Shedding the lbs

I am shocked a the quickness of the weight coming off. From pre op diet the first time to get the band removed and the postop diet after bypass I have lost a bunch and down a couple of pant sizes... I am overjoyed.... KNow I will prob hit a leveling off spot when I can eat some again...... Stepped on the scale and now I am at 240 down from 298-9 in the past couple mths....

Neighbor told the wife if I keep walking and losing weight like this I will have to walk playing that song Xanadu. I thought I was going to wet myself when they said that to me...... LOL

that's great, Keith. You are doing awesome. I got weighed at my doctor appt. last Wed. and then I weighed myself this morning. Lost another 5 lbs. since Wed. I did a lot of walking over the weekend, so I guess that helped.

That may not be a lot to some, but for me, that's a lot. I feel good. Gonna be doing this every Monday and Wednesday. When I get better, I'll tackle the treadmill.
We're all doing great.

That may not be a lot to some, but for me, that's a lot. I feel good. Gonna be doing this every Monday and Wednesday. When I get better, I'll tackle the treadmill.

Great job Debbyg!! Exercise is very important post-operatively and it seems like you are doing great with it! You should be proud of yourself for doing so well!!:D

Good job on exercising. Who cares how far you are going. You are doing it. That's what is important!!!

I find the recumbent bike harder than the treadmill lol even though you are sitting it is hard on the legs, you go girl, you are doing great
