Feeling discouraged, alone, and hungry!

I had my procedure done in April, 2015. I had the Roux n Y. I am starting to gain weight and I feel like a total looser. I joined a gym about a month ago. My problem is even though I have been working out I really love food. The surgery temporarily stopped me from eating and I have lost over 100lbs. I started out at 378 and now I am 271. I can tolerate a lot of foods now except fats and tough meats. I wish it was like the first 6 months after surgery where I couldn't hardly eat anything. Is there any advice that can help me get back on track? It would be greatly appreciated.

I just started taking the shakes this week. I was surprised at how they make you feel full. Did you have that experience when you were on the liquid diet? If so, you could try a reset for your stomach. You lost a hundred pounds that's great. I hope to follow in your footsteps.

Start at the beginning again. It's hard but either do that or for the pouch test. I am having the same experience. I never reached my goal but started gaining weight. I feel like such a failure.

First of all... you are not a looser. It's normal to regain some of your weight back. Stop focusing on the pounds that you have regain and start enjoying the pounds you have lost. I know you may have heard this many times "the surgery is only a tool" it's true. You are the one that controls it. YOU CAN DO IT!!! Get back into the driver seat and enjoy your ride!!!
YOU ARE A WINNER!!! BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT BACK... WHERE YOU STARTED.
CHEER UP!!!

Hi. I understand what you are going through. I switched all my plates in my house to smaller portion plates and bowls. Try and cut as many carbs as possible. Drink water 15 minutes before each meal and that helped me a ton. Keep it up.

Some times it takes a set back or having to take a few steps back in order to take that one leap forward... Dont beat yourself up, you are human, we will make mistakes, but get back up and keep moving forward... I know I love food to the point of looking at having a food addiction... I go to therapy now and it helps a lot... A WHOLE LOT!!!
