Lot of info to share in one post. Best thing to do is read the post op section. Any general questions you have, I'll be glad to answer. I can tell you that surgery was the best thing I did, but you can't go in to it expecting it to be an easy fix. Your entire life will be changed. Let me know what info you'd like to know about. :)

Ok thanks. It's seems like a slow process but its been a good thing especially me not knowing a lot about it. I will check the post up section and again thank you.

There is a lot of info to be shared. I'm almost 6 weeks post op. It has been a long road. I had to do 6 months of seeing a nutritionist for insurance purposes. I had to go on the south beach diet and lose 15 lbs. Which I bearly did....I lost 17 pounds. Surgery was more difficult than I imagined it. I had the gastric bypass. I was on pain meds for two weeks. Even today still have discomfort. I try really hard to get my calories and water in...its a true struggle at times. I do not regret having the surgery one bit. I am down about 42lbs.... that's including my six months pre op. It's not a whole lot of weight loss but I'm ok with my progress. You definitely can't over eat at this early stage... if I put a drop more than my pouch can hold.... it comes back up. Good luck with your process. Any questions just ask.
