I will be on the forum along with you to encourage others' who are on this journey that success can be theirs as well! Thank you for being who you are! Hugs, Linney
Thanks Dancinbr for your feedback. Kudos to you as well for a great finish in the journey you're on! I bet you feel elated and proud that you've made it to the other side. Not without its challenges, but it's such a great personal accomplishment! I wanted to create a short and fun video regarding the change of season and what it can mean to our new lifestyle as well. Congratulations to you and may you remain on this journey determined, wiser, and successful for the rest of your life! Sincerely, Linney
Hi Dancinbr! What kind of dancing do you do? I used to go salsa dancing a lot in my pre-children days. I hope once I shed some of the excess weight I can get back to the fun! I still have my dancing shoes and can't wait to get them back on! As for the golf I see in your profile, I know there is a white ball and clubs involved and little beyond that, but thing I enjoy most about golf courses is watching the deer graze on them at dusk by my house! lol

I've seen several of your posts now and they are always so encouraging so I though I'd stop by and say "hi".

Now, I don't like pain. So you are hearing from someone who will not tough it out if you know what I mean.

After the 5th or 6th day an occasional Tylenol was all the I needed. I hope that helps.
    Hi Alicia,

Yes. I didn't find pain to be an issue. Yes, after surgery in the hospital there was some soreness. However, the hospital was terrific and gave me whatever I needed. I am trying to remember. I had dilautin. What a wonderful trip the first night. Whenever I wanted pain meds I asked and they gave them.

By the time I got home I was feeling much better (2 night stay). I took Oxycodones, but only when I needed them. Don't deny yourself if you do feel pain. There is no need to worry about becoming addicted to pain killers. The pain was more an awareness of soreness around the incisions. If I didn't bother them they didn't bother me! At night, I did take a pain killer so I could sleep. I think I was pretty much finished with pain killers by the 5th or 6th day as my pain level was staying below 5 on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst.
I see you just recently had surgery. Can you tell me about the pain level and recovery. How long before you were back to normal.
