For me being active is key. I have been getting my 10,000 steps on almost every day since one week post op. It's a whole new way of life for me..

I could only have ibuprofen for 2 days now not allowed. There are days I miss it. I still have a shake on most days nut that is something I have done for years pre surgery. Keep up the good work.
I'm happy to share. I had a specific diet to follow 2 weeks pre op. It was basically
Breakfast:protein shake
Snack optional; Fruit or shake
Lunch: protein & vegetable (frozen dinner options were available)
Snack optional: Fruit or shake
Dinner: same as lunch

Hard to believe that a whole month has gone by. This has been one of the best decisions of my life. I'm so much more alive. More energy. I'm able to get in all nutrition and I'm getting 10,000 plus steps in on most days.

I'm doing great. Post op day 19 I've followed my plan and have had no issues. It's amazing. I've had no issues with nausea or getting my nutrition in. I truly feel blessed. Keep me posted on your journey. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

That's awesome. I live in York now, and have a place in Greenville too..just finished up 5 appointments this morning at Mass General... All is a go. I start my pre op diet Monday.. Whoot Whoot..
This made me smile. When I sat down with the surgical scheduler to choose a date that was exactly my thought.. This will be my second birthday. I'm excited..

My Surgery is the day before yours. I only have a 2 hour ride. Good Luck to you. In regards to the ride I would be prepared. Zip Lock bags make the perfect car sickness bags. I would toss in a pillow and a small blanket. Plan ahead with ready to drink protein and bottles of water.

I'm diabetic. On Metformin WE 2,000mg daily, glimepiride 2mg daily, and Trulicity weekly. The Trulicity has helped lower my A1c from 8 to 6.8 in just a couple months.
I'm scheduled for the sleeve surgery to be done May 15th.
