I am one year and two months post op, everyone recovers differently, but you will not regret it. I'm now only ten more lbs to lose to goal weight. I never dreamed I would make it this far. I've lost 147 lbs total. I lost 58 lbs before I started the program. 20 more before I had the surgery and...
Sometimes it gets frustrating, I have been struggling to lose the last 10 lbs for over the last 6 months. Then I just had my gallbladder removed and gained 5 lbs on fluid and gas, but I am happy to keep off the 140 lbs I have lost. So look at all the positive changes you have made and even if it...
I was told the sleeve doesn't get rid of the diabetes the rny gastric bypass does. I've been off insulin and meds sense the day of my surgery one year ago. I'm only ten more pound to lose to goal
It is a challenge. I'm ten lbs from goal. When at gatherings at church I do just a couple of bites. I weigh every day so it helps me keep on track. Maintenance is just as hard or harder than losing the weight. Lol knowing that I can have a small treat actually keeps me sane and then I don't...
Make sure you always eat protein first. You also can write down every thing you eat and track the calorie just to see what your really eating. That has helped me. Night also is my worse time. And I know it's not because I'm hungry. Mine is I my head and sometimes boredom. I do a lot of walking...
Too low calorie will keep you from losing weight also. My doctor has me on to eat 1000 to 1200 calorie a day. I am ten pounds from my goal weight I am a year post op on 5-2-18.
That's a normal. I'm am almost a year out on May 2, 2017 was my rny gastric bypass. I was 227 am now at 138 lbs. It's best decision I made for myself. It's not easy and learning a whole new way of life but the health benefits are worth it all.
I'm nine months post op. I still have trouble with meat I can eat about 2 and no more than 2.5 ounces at a time. So I still have one protein shake a day. But I'm very happy I'm only 6 lbs from reaching my goal weight. So to me it's all worth it.
Congratulations. I'm 5'1 and my highest weight was 285. I had list down to 227 when I first started the program. Took me about three months to get the Surgery. I had the RNY-gastric bypass. I'm now nine months post op. It's the best decision I ever made. I'm am now down to 140 lbs only ten lbs...
I had to take Miralax everyday for awhile. I'm about eight months post-op doing good now. It will get better first couple of months is the hardest. I'm now 9 lbs to reach goal weight. Lost a total of 145 lbs. Lost 70 before I had the surgery.
Yes I'm down to139 lbs only 19 to 9 lbs to goal weight. My starting weight when I start the program was 227 lbs but does not include the 58 lbs I lost before I first started the program on 1-27-2017. I will be one year post op on May 2, 2017.
I had the same issue it gets better over time m seven months post op now I have to watch that I don't eat the wrong things or to much. Even though can only eat a small amount I can overeat if I eat all day long. So I weigh every day to keep myself in check. I'm only eleven pounds from goal weight.
I know what you mean. I have had just a few. But I weigh myself every day which has helped keep me in check. I have maintained my weight. I only have to lose eleven more to my goal weight. Now I'm back on track for the new year.
I was off diabetic medicine day of Surgery. But I still on BP meds but a lower dose. I'm seven months post-op. I'm only 20 pounds to lose to reach goal. Lost 140 pounds total.
