I'm probably too late responding, but I would suggest discussing this with your doctor. Your doctor has a better view of your health. Choosing the liquid diet SHOULD be fine as long as you get your PROTEIN in. I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond. I've been under the weather so to say.
Thank you for the encouraging words. It is hard! But! I won't give up. I am certainly learning that you have to advocate for yourself.
I kind of feel like I'm out in the cold with the surgery, but I'm happy to have you ladies and gents.
I am definitely touching and agreeing with you that all will be well.
You and I had different surgeries, but I am having the same issue per say. I can't hold anything down including water. My surgery was mid October and I've had to go in and get fluids 4 times already. ..and today I've found...
I'm having a rough time guys.
I had my gastric sleeve a month and 4 days ago. I've been hospitalized for dehydration for a 3 day span and now I'm hope fighting to get water in to keep from returning to that place. Everything comes up water (yes I take small sips, very small), protein drinks...
I hope things are better for you. I am having the very same issue, but the type of surgery I had is different. I hope all is well and you have received medical help.
You ladies are true Gurus, I was dehydrated. I actually spent this past weekend in the hospital. Although I am still having issues keeping down my protein drinks, I am getting my water down. It takes some hard work, but I am doing it. I am now 23 days post op. I have my first appointment with...
I hope I didn't ruin anyone's appetite with the title, but I haven't gone since surgery and I'm 8 days out. While I realize I've only had liquids, I think I should have gone by now.
I found the a tip online called miralax.. so for
Good Morning!
I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to reply to you sweet ladies. I'm still recovering. I remained in the hospital about days after the procedure. I am able to hold down water now and a portion of my protein drinks. I have even had some yummy broth. My taste buds danced at a...
Thank you Christine!
Yes, I had my surgery on the 12th, so I'm now 2 days out and I'm still here in the hospital. I'm unable to keep any pills down or protein drink. My inability to keep things down is keeping my sugar really low. They are having to give me sugar with my fluid and dextrose...
That's wonderful. I'm more than sure you will be at mark. Make sure you wear the same clothes you wear at home for your weigh. Some clothes choices can put a few on. Well we will be October twins. I am scheduled for mine next week October 12th.
