I was all set to go to my bariatric support group tonight only to realize it was last week.Darn.I find the local support groups are really helpful and hearing and seeing people that have kept their weight of for years and not one have regretted having this surgery.Super great.

Just listen to whatever they have to say.But mostly ask any question that is on your mind.And remember before they discharge you they make sure you are eating,drinking, walking and going to the bathroom by yourself.Good luck. Linda 8/6/12 when I had mine.

I just joined this page.I don't know where to start.I had my surgery ,R and Y bypass on the 6th.I'm having a hard time finding the right food so I have mainly sticking to the easy stuff like refried beans ,applesauce,popcicles,sugar free pudding and eggs.There has to be better things out there...
