I'm having a revision from vertical gastric stapling I had in 1998 to RNY. He is the best revision surgery in Florida. I'm driving from Panama City Beach each time which is 2.5 hours one way.

I was scheduled for revision surgery with Dr Lord on Sept 16th however he has some family issues going on therefore my surgery was canceled. I'm tentatively rescheduled for December 16th and extremely hopeful it will not get canceled.

I had vertical gastric stapling in 1998. Lost 100 pounds but managed to gain 80 of those pounds back over the past 15 years. Looking for anyone that has experienced a revision with what should be the "real" expectations of rate of loss.
