I haven't even had my WLS yet and I am baffled by the whole pureed protein stage. The thought of putting meat in the blender and then eating it, makes me want to scream. Being a classically trained chef, it goes against my nature.

Does anyone know how insurance companies look at pre-surgical weight loss?
Seeing in the beginning of my journey I qualify for everything but what if I lose too much? Will they still go ahead with the surgery or does my ins. co. no longer cover it?
-I am weak and I don't want anyone who knows me to find out.
-I can only talk to my husband about this.
-My best friend does not support me in my decision to get surgery.
-I dieted on and off over the past 10 years and so far I've lost 22 pounds.
