Hi everyone, I'm Laura and I live in Columbus Indiana. My nerves are a bit on edge with surgery only 4 days away. If anyone is in my area hit me up... I'll need all the support I can get.

I had VSG too. It's normal to have last minute anxiety. Try to do something that helps you relax. For me it would be putting on some nice soothing music, using my essential oils, maybe a foot massage or a facial. Whatever works for you.

Hi Laura! I had VSG 6 weeks ago. I was a nervous wreck the night before/morning of surgery. When I got to the hospital at 6am that morning, I was still nervous but the excitement soon took over. I knew I’d be on the other side shortly and just so ready to start this leg of the journey!! Good luck to you! Keep us posted!

Hey Ladies, surgery went well had a bit of a problem with anything going down but got it figured out quickly. I had a hietal hernia repair and all the swelling from that wouldn't allow me to swallow. Got me all fixed up and just got home today, spent a cpl nights in the hospital. Felling pretty good so far, holding liquid down... only problem I am having is my butt cheeks are numb... anyone else's? LOL

Welcome to the losers' bench! I lost 35 pounds in my first month, which really gave me a running start at the total 110 after 14 months!
