Been a long time, checking in

Hi everyone. It has been a very long time since I have been on here. Things are crazy with me right now. On the good note, I am 5 lbs from my goal weight. On the bad notes....I have sludge in my gallbladder, which will have to be removed eventually. I have had lots of pain in my back along with muscle spasms. I had went to an urgent care center because the pain was so bad. I was also having chest pain and shortness of breath. They ran 3 EKG's and referred me to a cardiologist. So I went in to see him, he wants me to see a pulmonary specialist he thinks I have COPD. Anyway, I had an echocardiogram this past week, blood work done to check my lipid panel and liver function test, and tomorrow I go in for another chemical stress test like I had before surgery. I will have the results on friday. I am in pain tonight from a massive migraine, thinking it's from not having any caffeine but I can't be sure. I was told no caffeine for 24 hours prior to my test, so that includes coffee, teas, soda, all decaf products are off limits too, as well as chocolate
Sorry for rambling, I know that many of you know and understand what I might be going through. Any suggestions on easing the headache? Tylenol does nothing to relieve it, and I don't have any other options at home.

congrats on ur weight loss im just beginning my journey doing the liquid diet will have the surgery on the 12th of august. Anyway a good message always helps with a little rubbing alcoholl, maby try some yoga.

Thank you Hunger Buddy. My husband did give me a message, but it didn't help at all. Didn't have any alcohol, and right now yoga is out of the question due to some back problems. Good luck with your surgery. I didn't have any regrets about mine and I am really happy with my weight loss and so is my surgeon.

Just getting rid of the caffeine will go a long way in helping your headaches. Your blood pressure can also be an issue with headache, so check on that asap. For some cheese can also be a headache initiator.

nana feastorfamine here. haven't posted in a long time either..first of all.........If youuse a frosen bag of peas behind your neck and one on your forehead it may help. only use it for about 1/2 hr at a time. the last time I posted was in about june of last year I was so discouraged because I had regained 30 nlbs after 9 years. well it is slowly coming off and now at 196...only 4 lbs this summer but at least I am starting to lose..must be losing inches because my 18 jeans are getting loose and I was wearing 2x a few months ago.24 lbs is my goal All of the problems you are having I hope your labs are good. if you want to e-mail me directly it is pmiller64@earthlink.net...do you have bat wings and goat teats yet?....pat

So glad the "dropouts" are checking back in. Nana- congratulations with your weight loss. You are awesome. I'm sorry you are having so many health problems. Hope the headache has eased. All my cures have caffeine in them, sorry!
Feastorfamine-- any advice you can give us about keeping the weight off? I'm sure you've analyzed and re-analyzed your own situation, but it would be helpful to hear some first person advice on what NOT to do.
