Hi Everyone!
My name is Kim and I am 38 years old with 3 little ones. I just returned home from my doctor's appointment and my blood pressure numbers are scary. My doctor informed me that I am pre-diabetic and the number on the scale scared the daylights out of me. I used to be content with 189 and then 200 was a shock but I was okay and then 215 was safe because it was no where near 250 and now I am almost at 260. I failed at all exercise programs because of my lack of energy. My doctor actually brought up bariatric surgery and now it becomes a real possibility. I am about to overload in research which is why I joined this support group. I am pretty sure you all have been where I am currently and with your help, I plan to decide which surgery works best for me and utilize you guys for support. I promise to do the same.
