"food porn"

I know this is not what you mean when you talk about those food cravings but, to me, this is what my friend Joe calls "foodporn." My neighbor Cynthia just brought me this huge box of organic local produce which was left over at the Farmers Market. My head is spinning with recipes but no sugar plums dancing in my head. Just incredibly delicious, nutritious food.

Anyone got a recipe for nutritious collard greens? People who make soul food will throw a piece of salt pork or ham hock in a pot with the greens and then let them cook for hours and hours and hours. I doubt they have much iron left in them after that.

I've never made collard or turnip greens; listening to people who make them talk about the hours spent to wash them leaf by leaf multiple times then the slow cook always seemed like way more effort for a "side dish" than I wanted to give.
That being said, I absolutely love some collard greens cooked well with pork. Delicious.
