My husband and I started this journey together in February of 2020 with a surgery date of August 18, 2020. Right after the surgery we moved from Iowa to New York. While we both did amazing initially I began to struggle about a year in from the stress of moving away from my support system, new job, and getting custody of my autistic stepson, My husband got to his goal weight ( so proud of him) while I started to regain and suffer from GERD.
I have found a terrific Bariatric surgeon in New York and I am ready to get back on the program.
