My doc gave me a "restaurant discount card" !

This is so funny ..maybe it's common, I dunno - it's a card that says -

"This individual has had stomach surgery and cannot eat large portion sizes.If able,please allow this individual to order a smaller portion size and adjust price accordingly ."

My husband and I haven't been out to eat in over 10 years ,so I guess I'll just keep it in my wallet as a conversation piece LOL

I got one too. mine said "please allow this patient to order from the children's menu.

I have one and never have to use it. Most places just give you a look. Some charge extra for an adult ordering on kids.

I have been charged extra for ordering kids meal. So now if I am told it is extra I ask for 2 to go boxes. So I can portion Myself

My husband was given a card. I was not. Same center lol However, we just share a meal usually. If I order off the children's menu, I usually explain why. I'd rather pay an additional dollar than have a bunch of food I cannot eat.
