New here..waiting for insurance approval.

It seems this has gone on forever. Went to my first "introductory "group 10 months ago.
Meet with a PA..and received the list of requirements for my insurance provider.
Have seen the dietitian for 3 months ,had a physiological. Chest X-ray and other test and clearances..
So now I am waiting for insurance approval for the gastric bypass.
I wondered why they would approve to pay for all this when surgery is not yet approved.
Was told it may take up to 3 weeks to hear from insurance provider..
Nervous .. Do not know what I will do if after all that I did but do not get approved.

Insurance SUCKS LOL
I am still going through all the hoops. 1 more month with my Bariatric Doctor then I have to wait to hear from the Insurance Company.
I was all set to have my surgery in December, and they told me it could be up to a month before they hear from insurance company. So I agree, why go through all this and wonder if they could say NO!
