New to the group

Hello. I just joined the group today. I am 6 days post gastric bypass surgery. My BMI is not extremely high, but it’s high enough for insurance to cover surgery due to other factors—extreme GERD for 3 years and recent diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea. I’m off pain meds as of today and doing ok. I am surviving on Premier Protein drinks and broth this week. I have been amazed that I don’t feel hungry. My husband has been reminding me to drink my protein. I am really looking forward to improving my health and having more energy.
