Side pain

Hi all, I had Lap. RNY on 12/29/11 and am doing ok except that my right side still hurts. I was told by the surgeons that it would hurt for a couple of weeks because they have to "clip" back the liver while operating. Has anyone else had this pain and if so how long did it last. Thanks!

yes I to have this, my surgery was 12-6-11, it hurt more the first 3-4wks, but now is more like a dull ache.

My pain was on the left side. It just went away and I had my surgery 12/20/11.

I've noticed that sometimes when I eat too much I get that right-sided pain. I've wondered if it's my "pouch" being too full and pressing on something.
