For those of you near the Charlotte, NC area, you may be interested in attending the Bariatric Support Group at Carolina Surgical in the downtown area. Meets once a month. I just went last week and it's a good mixture of people who've recently had surgery, less than a year out, more than 2yrs out and pre-surgery candidates. Was a very positive experience. Check out the calendar at www.carolinasurgical.com Also, lists Food Addicts Anonymous meetings and soon the local hospital (Presbyterian Hospital) will be starting it's support group up again. They are in the middle of a re-vamp. They plan to have guest speakers and lots of other activities. Great place to be inspired!
