I just realized that today is my 13th year since surgery on August 20th, 2007.
I am going to celebrate it by patting myself on the back a bunch of times because I have lost five of my COVID 10lb weight gain. That is to say, my weight on the doctors scale on Tuesday was 5 lbs more than my weight on my accurate scale here at home today.
But I'm actually going to wait until Monday to declare a weight loss because that will be seven days after I weighed at the doctor's office. Weekly weigh-ins are much more reliable. And my scale always agrees with the doctor's scale, to the ounce.
Also, I have only had 12 years of celebrating reaching my goal. 2007 is my surgerversary and 2008 is my goal weight anniversary.
