My doctor said 2-3 hours for the bypass, and 3-4 hours for the sleeve.

I had gastric sleeve on 12/19/2016. So 6 days ago. Surgery lasts 1 hour. I did have horrible gas pain for 2 days. They gave me morphine and it didn't help. Im still a bit bloated. When I drink it causes alot of gas. Doing great now. I am hungry alot though. Doing protien shakes, applesauce, tried yogurt (had dumping).

Make sure you get actual Bariatric vitamins and take them to keep up your strength. I didn't and fainted outside landing right on my belly. Set me back a couple days. Doing ok now.
