VSG with the VA Hospital?

My VSG is going to be through the VA, has anyone gone through the VA?

Congratulations! I’m in the Move and Bariatric program. My surgery will be in New Orleans.

At first I didn’t want surgery. I thought meds could do the trick. Is the va doing the surgery or are they outsourcing it. Mine was outsourced to university of Iowa clinics. Digestive services. It is a good program the food log sheets they gave me I was losing about 2 pounds per month, I was still cheating then. At least on ice cream. The va did offer Minnesota as a surgery site.
