WOOHOO! Exciting, I wish I had a friend or family member local that I could do it with. Someone that can directly relate to what we are going through. Support is good, very good. But a partnership with someone doing it along side you is completely different in my opinion. I would love it. Oh well, support will have to do.

Yes congrats on all 3 of you going through all the hoops & finally getting surgery. So great to have such a strong family group going through this together.
Having this group is so awesome, but having someone locally to go through this together with is wonderful. Several months ago I connected with my WLS twin. What a great gift she has been. We text each other daily, we encourage each other when we feel we are slipping, and we are working on starting up a walk & talk program to get out and exercise.

I don't know it's the pureed food thing. It sounds so gross when I read the recipes haha

Yes it does but it's really not that bad. My team will only let me have a few things. Tuna or chicken in pouch or can in water, egg or egg beater, low fat cottage cheese, string cheese, and plain Greek yogurt

Honestly, after weeks of clear and full liquids, having something that felt like real "solid" food was so wonderful during the pureed stage. Even if it only was cottage cheese, eggs, etc., trust me, it's better than you can imagine.
