Howdy! As a long time post-bariatric surgery patient, I'm passionate about this amazing tool for life-changing weight-loss. My interest has led me to study the attitudes surrounding weight loss surgery for a Master's degree in Sociology. I'm quantitatively measuring attitudes using a survey I developed and have Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval for the survey to be anonymous because of the extreme stigma attached to obesity. I hope to take this data and pursue a PhD in Sociology expanding on the data over the next several years. The survey is for anyone who has had or is planning to have any kind of weight loss surgery.
