Hello everyone. I hope this finds you all well. I'm now 16 weeks out from my VSG surgery. I have lost 49 pounds now and am almost in "onederland" as they say. It has been more than an adventure, the anxiety has calmed down. One tip I found (which you all probably know) is that cold water really does not feel good in my sleeve so I realized that very hot tap water feels really good. So that has helped with my liquids, that and my fat free sugar free chai tea. I do feel really bogged down after protein bars, so I might not be ready for them, but I am a little tired of protein shakes. Not to over-share but I have been struggling with terrible constipation. I have tried many things and Milk of Magnesia has helped a lot. It's silly to feel that I should have lost more than I have. But I trust God for the losses. Almost 50 lbs.is good and I realize that.
