    Walking in Bad Weather...No excuses!!

    I just put it on my bra and go for it. Mine is bluetooth and set up quick on the computer. You don't have to set your steps-it automatically does it for you-easier to use. I have tried others and I didn't like them this works great for me. Check out the fitbit zip on it's online site. Carol

    Sometimes you have to go through a few before you find one that you like after surgery. Tastes have a habit of changing after surgery. Everyone's tastes are different. Carol

    When can I start eating salads?

    I will be glad once I can have chili in my diet stage. Putting low fat cheese and low fat sour cream with it to add to the protein sounds good. Heck even fat free refried beans sound good now. Carol

    Just had the surgery a month ago.

    Congratulations! I just had Gastric bypass Lap-done via DaVinci on Monday 12/17/12 and was discharged from the hospital that Friday. Still on liquids. I go for my first post-op visit with my surgeon on Jan 3rd at which time they will up my diet. I could pretty much mug for Fat Free Refried Beans...

    I hated riding exercise bikes in a gym

    I have an indoor exercycle-can pedal in any weather. :) Right now I have to take it easy as I just had my surgery so I soft pedal. I do 15 minutes twice a day. Too cold to get outside and walk right now. Hubby takes me to walmart to walk around. I have my Fitbit Zip to keep track of my steps...

    Type II Diabetes Relief

    new from Massachusetts

    I just had my RNY on Monday Dec 17th and was discharged on Friday. They also took out my Gall bladder due to the gallstones thay saw on the Ultrasound the week before. On the Liquid diet until my first post-op visit on Jan 3rd with my Surgeon and Dietician. Carol

    2nd post op appt tomorrow

    Had my surgery on the 17th. It wasn't an open Gastric bypass-mine was done lap via Davinci. I was discharged Friday and my JP Drain was taken out then as well. I have no staples. My 4 areas of entrance have a special clear thing on them The only stitiches are at my belly button area another area...
