I am about 8 months out and have some of the same feelings. I am currently at 143 and don't want to be any lower than 135. I also see the flabby's everywhere. I feel pretty good though. Congrats on your journey :)

all of my vitamins were chewables for the first 6 months. You can go to the Bariatric Advantage site and they offer all of them in chewable form. Vitamin D was in liquid.

thank you all! Your comment and advice are greatly appreciated. I have tried some of the Smart Ones meals and some of them go down pretty good. I can only eat about 1/3 of the meal at a time but it is nice to have a little variety. Just joined a gym and going to go check that out. Hopefully...

I decided to lay off the skim milk. I was having it with my cream soups. thought that might be the problem. It is a little better today. I have been having a hard time lately getting in everything, just because of the gas pressure. I see the dr. tomorrow so hopefully he has some answers.

Hi Rhonda, I hope things are getting better for you. I go tomorrow to see if I advance to stage 3, semi soft foods. I am ready for a change up. The protein shakes are going ok I just have to space it out over the day because they are so filling. I am limited to 1 a day for now. I am sure...

I use the pure protein premixed shakes from walmart. The cost is about $8.00 for a 4 pack. I am also using the walmart brand whey protein. I mix it with warm water, Not hot. It is almost like hot chocolate and is 28 grams of protein per serving. I mix it with about 4-6 oz of water.

I too had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago. Dec 14th. Still on the full liquids. I have been having a hard time with what feels like gas stuck up under my ribs. Any suggestions?

had my surgery the 14th, lapro gastric bypass. Had my drain out the Friday after. No staples. I have 5 entry sites and the drain site. No stitches only steri strips and super glue. All seem to be healing fine. I just have a lot of trouble with moving gas and getting all of my liquids...

I wanted to check in and see how you were doing. Did you have your surgery the 14th. I did have mine and all things considered are going well. I am getting tired of the full liquid diet. I think I have only one week left. I hope things are going well for you.

I am 1 week out today. Had my surgery Dec 14. Onto full liquid diet and as much walking as I can tolerate. Down 14 pounds:) Congrats to all of you as well. Still a little sore. I just got my drain tube out today. Feeling a little better knowing it is finally gone.
