Dose anyone know if we can take decongestants after surgary? I'm 5 1/2 weeks? out and i saw my primary care doctor today she asked if i can take sudefed for some fluid in ears.my Bariatric clinic is closed so cant check with them.

Hi cook yes i had my surgery on the 14th as well, glad to hear your doing good.your on full liquid? They put me on puree the day i left the hospital not that anything seems appetizing .are you having any trouble with the protein shakes? I have to force them down.but all in all im doing good too

Well this is day 3 post- op i have some problems with bleeding from one of the incision sites and oh my goodness the pain...please tell me it will get better. Was surprised they sent me me home from hospital after2 days is this the norm?

Tomorrow's the day very excided and nervous hoping all goes well and ready to start this new chapter in my life.

Great job! We're doing it 8 days of liquid diet down 7 to to go. I too have lost weight about 10# so far feelinggood all things considered.

Got my surgery date set for Dec 14th. Im on day 3 of my 2 week liquid pre op diet, it going ok so far. Very excited and not afraid to say a little nervous as well, im trying to take it one day at a time.would greatly appreciate any words of advice.
