To Tell or not to Tell

Hi Sandra, Try not to let anyone change your mind, I made that mistake and it took me another year to do what I wanted. I gave up a year because I listened to others instaed of my heart. How far are you into the process?

To Tell or not to Tell

I am a very private person, I did not share with anyone while I was making my decision and going through all the steps. When surgery got closer I decided I was proud of my decision and I did not care who knew. Once I told people they were and are so supportive. I had complications so I was...

    Nervous and new

Hi Donna, I spent the first 5 days after surgery in CICU due to a heart issue. Was not related to the surgery. After that issue cleared itself the rest has gone very smooth. I am able to eat food and have been for awhile, just very small portions. My Dr has me following the South Beach...

    Bypass vs sleeve

I had the sleeve on 01/31, best thing I did. I chose the sleeve because it seemed to be the easiest procedure of the 3 and less side effects after surgery. I did not want anything foreign placed in my body, so the band was out. What ever choice you make will be the best for you, we all have...
