:D Got word today that my surgery is scheduled for June 13 !! I know it is a ways away but I am excited, I have been looking into this surgery since 2009 and to finally have a date ! :) I just have the nutrition class and psych eval left to go ........ then the paperwork is off to the insurance !!

Well I can't give any person experience from the hospital stay, but coming from a nurse level ..... Rest, sip sip sip, and walk when you are allowed up. Please keep us posted :)

Good morning and welcome to the group :) ..... I found my first information meeting very useful and helped answer some of the questions my boyfriend and I had regarding the surgery, he came with me as it's always good to have someone that is going to be going through it with you so to speak...

I paused for a long time before witting because honestly I am at a loss for words and what to say, but I know we are all here for help and support so any words sometimes are better than none. Have you though about asking your regular psychiatrist if they would be able to do what is needed to...
