Welcome, Vick! My surgery is in the morning, so we're just about on the same schedule. I did not have to do any pre-op diet, but did limit myself to 1200 calories a day. Just hang in there, and try to remember all the reasons you wanted this surgery.

I think the others have outlined it pretty well. I just wanted to add that with all the red tape, I started my process in March 2012, and my surgery date is in 9 days. It is not a quick process.
