My newest favorite is 4 oz skim milk, 4 oz crushed ice with a scoop of chocolate unjury and a table spoon of pb2. run it through the blender it is so goo.
Next favorite cup of decaf coffee refrigerated until cold, add a scoop of vanilla unjury and some sugar free tortoni syrup (lots of flavors...
Nice job
So how many reps?
I have been pushing cardio and have to admit neglecting strength training but now I am using yoga and kettle balls to rectify the situation.
well it sounds like you have gotten some good advice. I am the type that if I eat a bite I will crave and give in to many bites. I have decided that the one bite just isn't worth it. Yes I give in from time to time and that is when it is important to remember that a little set-back is not the...
oh my it will get better. In a matter of weeks you will feel energy that is very new. Also the tired feeling will go away as you are able to get the protein and water intake in.
Good luck
Great job Frank
My team did a picture and measurements just be surgery. I am glad they did as the weight and inches declined fast enough that I didn't think about it. I do measure now mostly because the blasted scale will not move.
Good luck Isales and yes measure yourself often.
Hi all I posted the following under blog but wanted to share it again :)
Oh what a happy day
wow! things have changed in six short months. I went to the Dr today for a follow-up. I was a little worried they would say that I hadn't lost enough weight. It turns out I have done better than I was...
Congratulations on setting the date. The only advice I have is do exactly what the surgeon says to do. Remember that there will be tough times but it is so worth it.
Best of luck
Oh one other things start taste testing protein shakes :)
weight watchers was not accepted for me. I had to see the Dr. once a month to be weighed and I had to bring a list of all food and exercise. Hope this helps
Good luck with your journey
The truth is that what is your favorite now may not be after surgery. I have noticed my taste have changed and read that I am not alone. I would ask the nutritionist their thoughts on the bread. I am sure you will hear that protein first, veggies second and if precious space allows then a carb...
My team has me taking to Flintstones with iron per day. I have had no issues. Double check everything with your nutritionist as that is what they are there for.
Well not exactly I am not a fan of liver of any kind. I found a recipe online for potted meat and made it more suitable for my way of life. One of the best things about only eating 3 oz at a time is that I can cook once a week and have enough for the week if not two. I haven't used the recipe...
I have been thinking about your protein problem here are some ideas that sorta worked for me during the puree food stage
Deviled eggs yummy and already mashed
potted meat low sodium (watch the fat content)
chicken soup that is sent through the food processor and drank from a cup
crab meat
