Before my surgery I was required to lose 10% and liquid diet 2 weeks prior and after.

I was prescribed two different things for my nausea one is a patch that goes behind my ear and works for 3 days. My surgeon said some people get the nausea and some don't unfortunately I did. I'm much better now. I just learned how to breath thru it.

Office Visit Hi All Went to my follow up appointment and did not go well I had to get IV fluids due to dehydrated. I also have to go for a GI test they think I might have an ulcer. So they are treating with meds. I go wed for my test I'll update more later.

I had that conversation with my doctor and he said that a lot of dr don't like to reverse its complicated that's why when u go thru the classes to get it don't they pump it in your head its a life change. I had the sleeve done because I didn't want anything rerouted but if something went wrong...

Hi Jamie-Sue, I know it's frustrating something similar happened to a girl I know. They told her 15 -30 days but she was approved in 6 hang in there. I hope you get your approval soon. Doris

Thanks Tom sometimes it's a struggle to get the shakes down I get nauseous and don't push my self. I hope it gets better I have good and bad days but the dr said that's expected. If anyone has any hints to help I would appreciate it. Thanks Doris

Thank you all for your comments. I think that I am going to meet with one of the other surgeons also. They are all employed by Geisinger so they should all be experienced as you have all stated. I just want to be sure there is a big difference in the healing time between the single incision...
