My Rny was Sept 5th and all went well. I was a model patient day 1 but on day 2 they discovered I was still insulin resistent and my glucose readings were in the 200. I was able to reduce the amount of insulin I was taking down by 2/3. This is still a moving target as I am still healing...

After the long awaited approval, I finally have my surgery date...Sept 5th. My family is almost as excited as I am. I am so blessed to have so much support. Only two days left of work for a while. Still not sure how long I will be out of work.
