Constipation

Hi, this is my first post but I often read here, so thank you to everyone for all your help. I had gastric sleeve surgery a month ago. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with having a bowel movement. I hardly have one and I’m sure that’s not good for me. I thought I had an appointment with my nutritionist today but she had to reschedule. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! - Paula

I took Miralax every day for the first 30 days and that helped a lot.
I don't seem to be constipated anymore. 7 weeks out from RNY. I think the protein shakes help me to go.
You can also take a stool softener or smooth move tea ( Walmart).
Hope you can get some relief soon.

i Those it was because I had been on a liquid day for almost 3 weeks. I was 9 days out when I decided I need to call my PA. He oked taking a laxative. I’m also 4 weeks post op now. I take Colace every other day. Works great.
