I'm new to this but I just started my pre-op checklist.. I am curious as what they look for when doing the EGD? Does anyone know?

Welcome! My doctor said he’ll be looking for reflux signs such as scarring, hernias, that the structure of the stomach is normal. Basically just making sure nothing surprises him.
