Feb 5th my surg. date

Best wishes.

Only a few more days.

This is the best decision I ever made going for this operation.

I believe you will find it to be true for you.

Best of luck to you with your surgery and new life! Having my surgery was the best possible gift I could have given myself. I hope the experience is the same for you.

Your immediate need is to get everything back under control. Your weight surgery is even more important than ever. As soon as possible to continue; do so.

Things like clogged arteries often are helped by massive weight loss. It takes time, but you can reverse clogging of arteries or at least stop the progression.

I would also recommend that you have a cardiac catscan to see exactly what shape your heart is in with respect to blockages. You might have a "silent killer" lurking there as well.

I know I have stopped the progression of my arterial blockages and now I am expecting to see them improve.

Changing your lifestyle, dropping the excessive weight and changing your attitude about life are all significant in improving your health and extending your life.

Some good reading for you in case you haven't done so is Dr. Davis's "Wheat Belly" book. Also, I used to be a member of his internet site http://www.trackyourplaque.com/

There is a wealth of information here that you might consider looking at and make some important life saving decisions for yourself.

Best wishes,

Ralph

How are you doing? How did meeting with doctor go? I found out the morning of my surgery that I had to postpone due to a spot on my lung showing in my MRI. I started to loose my focus on weight change while I waited to get the spot diagnosed (it is a pericardial cyst). It was much harder to get my head back in the game 6 weeks later. So keep your head in the game and know that it will happen, but take care of the heart issue first to be fully healthy after.
