Hi

I am new to the group and just starting to explore!!! I was just approved for surgery yesterday for Friday 28th!!! I am in a flurry of pre-op testing that needs to get done before Christmas!!!! I am so overwhelmed and just here to learn about everything and everyone!!!

Msbatty-Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your decision to take the WLS journey. The important thing is to follow your post surgery meal plan and any direction given to you by the surgeon and his staff. Make sure to come back to the forum to let us know how you are doing.

Welcome its very interesting how much your gonna learn. Your be fine and they give you a huge book to take home. Sometimes I have a question late at night and I have called the hospital nurses station, they always answer me You will be a pro soon.I am almost 8 weeks out. And at first it seemed a lot but it works out great. Good luck and welcome.

Msbatty welcome, you've found the right place to get answers about weight loss surgery and all that's involved.you're going to start the New Year the right way .yes the test can be overwhelming and time consuming but just remember you're doing it all for YOU, to become the healthy happy person you want to be. don't be afraid to ask alot of ? everyone on here will support you and do there best to answer your concerns. They've been wonderful to me throughout the months of pre-op and now post op.come back and share your journey with us. this group is here to share and help and be a friend to you.
