Hey folks, Im Tonya. I am a 38 yr old mom and wife. I had my surgery on April 10, 2013. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days, and even then it was iffy if I should leave. I am an avid gamer (Xbox360, PC, etc.), reader, crafter, and babblemouth.

I came here because my experience of what happened, doesn't seem to be found anywhere on the net. I am hoping someone can give me some peace of mind.

Hi Tonya, welcome to the board. I had RNY in October of 2012 and it was the best thing I ever did. Making progress towards my ultimate goal. There have been a number of people who experienced complications after surgery and once they got past them, they are doing well. You don't mention what type of complications you had. All I can say at this point is, to get in your water and protein and the weight will come off. Please let us know how you're doing, we care.
