Well I have just a couple of days to go until Monday morning. I am getting excited overall. I been hearing a lot about people dieing from this type of surgery. That is making me nervous about it tonight. Is this rare or not? I also heard a lot about people having it and wished that they did it sooner. Very hard to understand which way to go, with so much stuff out there that it really don't matter which way now doed it. So with that note I say good night.

Hi Booboo :)

Did you pick a surgeon who is a Surgeon Of Bariatric Excellence? Did you pick a Hospital of Bariatric Excellence? I read this makes all the difference in patients having problems during and after surgery. Also having this operation done laparoscopically is less invasive and much safer. As long as you have done your homework on your surgeon and hospital, you shouldn't have a problem. Everyone is scared about having surgery. Scared, happy, sad, excited and nervous are typical reactions. I procrastinated having surgery for 10 yrs before I actually decided to go ahead. I am so sorry I didnt do it years sooner. Relax and trust your surgeon. All will be fine!
